1 hr - Next stop one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, the small bay of Anthony Quinn with the crystal clear waters and the rocky surroundings. The shooting of the movie “The Guns of Navarone” made this beach famous worldwide, which was named after the film’s actor Anthony Quinn. While snorkeling, you will be able to admire a natural aquarium full of fishes. Lunch time has arrived. Enjoy it at Anthony Quinn bay.

15 min - Stay longer at Anthony Quinn Bay or visit Kallithea Bay Most of the times guests are so attracted by the Anthony Quinn Bay stunning beauty that prefer to stay longer instead of visiting one last bay. If this is not the case in your small group, you have one more stop: Kalithea Bay! The thermal springs of Kallithea, known since antiquity for their therapeutic properties, were utilized by the Italians, in the early 20th century (no longer in operation). There are several, small, organized beaches here, scattered around the spectacular rocks of Kallithea Bay. Discover the magical seabed of the bay. It is an ideal place for diving and snorkeling as there is abundance of marine life, with an amazing variety of fish in its emerald waters.

You have to try this Sail/Snorkel Adventure around Rhodes!

Our sailing/snorkeling day on the water around Rhodes was wonderful. John Luca skippering the "Always Somewhere". Of our 10 days, touring everyday, around Greece and the Greek Islands, this was my favorite. We actually sailed out and back which is sometimes not the case with other excursions. The water is fantastically clear and blue. The lunch was delicious as was the local wine and the very personable skipper and his mate. Thank you so much.

Great day out on the sea

What a lovely trip we had. The crew was lovely and knowledgeable. They even catered delicious food for all of us include our child who has food allergies. All the stops were lovely and we soaked in the beauty of this island. I’d highly recommend this trip even with young children.

Great Sailing Day Tour

Had a full day sailing tour around Rhodes island with great captain and first mate, beautiful boat (downstairs could have been cleaner), great service and we had them drop us off at isolated local restaurant for lunch. Highly recommend!

Nice people - pretty setting

We wanted to go snorkeling when we were in Greece and our travel curator, Zephyr Travel Curators, helped us find this excursion. The provider, Rhode Trip, was great. They picked us up at our door, took us to the boat, and greeted us when we returned to take us back to our Airbnb. The bays were very beautiful, the lunch was great. The only word of warning - for us lightweights, the water was too cold for snorkeling! There were four of us from our group (all from Seattle) - we got in the water and got out pretty quick due to the cold. The one other person, from Finland, did snorkel and did not mind the water temperature. So, one recommendation, if you are "weenies" like us, go later in the summer when the water temperature is warmer. But overall, we had a delightful time sailing and enjoying the day.
